Miss Cheery Zahau, the Coordinator of WLC Aizawl Branch said; "We re-evaluated the activities of the past as reported by each groups, otherwise members of WLC. We drafted the constitution of WLC in particular," and continue, "each organization briefed their achievement."

The members specifically discussed on how to win the support of the public in anti-drug campaign and on the sector of management. The meeting had expanded the members of the sub-committee in view of the extension of its activities.

According to Miss Cheery, "Meeting attendees began to realize the importance of woman to play a significant role in the society and current issues as well." When asked on any improvement of WLC since its initiation Miss Cheery Zahau explained, "In comparison to the previous times there is closer relation and mutual understanding amongst us. As a result, we could carry out our work with the same spirit in tuture."

Miss Joyce told Khonumthung News Group, "We, Moreover, have a plan to preserve the culture of Chin nationals and have educational program, especially language, for the children who grow up in the foreign land.

WLC was formed in 2004 jointly by the various women's organizations from Chin state, such as – Central Chin women Organization, Chin Women Union, All Burma Democratic Lushai Women Organization, Matu Women Union, Zomi Women Union, Mara Women Association, Khumi Women Advancement Organization, Chin Women Organization and Zotung Women Development Network.
