Bus mishap kills one, six injured

June 6, 2007: A bus veered off the road that links Falam in Chin state to Kalay in Sagaing division in Myanmar killing one and injuring six on June 2.

The bus was carrying around 60 passengers and was heading for Kalay town when it went out of control and ran off the road 28 miles from Falam town in Chin state.

The dead passenger was identified as Pastor Hrangluai (40) from Khuangli village. The names of the six injured passengers could not be ascertained.

The bus was owned by Pu Lam Sawn from Kalay town. – KNG.
